Connect a retail media network through a single API call.

Connect your retail media network (RMN) once and Algolia handles relevance, merging and deduplication in a single Composition call.

Business users: sponsored ads are served by your RMN provider while Algolia keeps control of relevance. RMN-based Smart Groups are configured without code in Merchandising Studio.
Developers: no middleware to build or maintain. Set up a connector in a few steps in the dashboard; it works with any RMN provider using HTTP API key authentication.

Blend algorithmic and organic results: surface trending items alongside your regular search results, with no manual curation.
Power a whole page: use Recommend as the source of an entire results feed, for example a standalone "Trending now" page.
Supports the Trending Items model for now, with more Recommend models coming.

Improved sorting setup and frontend library integration

Previously, every sort replica needed its own Composition on top of the replica index. Customers with many locales, sites and sorts were more likely to hit the limit on the total number of compositions.

A Composition now stores the list of sorting strategies that can be applied.
A new query parameter selects the sorting strategy to apply.
The sortBy widget in InstantSearch supports Composition sorting strategies.
Merchandising Studio lets you create sorting strategies and preview a selected one.

A sorting strategy applies to the organic results only; the ranking of each Smart Group stays the same.
